Interfact Travel Italië

I am really disappointed from the lack of understanding and empathy shown from Interfact Travel employees. And the fact that money are the only important thing for them. They establish a really nasty scheme which I will describe below.

We booked a trip to Italy using Secret escape website, which was for a couple. And then the problems began:
- After the booking, we contacted the agency with a request to register our 2 years son as well. They told us that we need to arrange everything by ourselves. Which is not the point when you are paying for a service (I checked the prices for the flights, hotels and commuting and definitely we were paying for a service)
- Couple a weeks after the booking, we found out that my wife is pregnant with our second kid and tried to postpone or cancel the trip because it was in her seventh month of pregnancy. The agency declined with the statement that everything is already paid and we need to transfer them the rest of the reservation price, which we did because we didn't want to act as jerks and travelling in the 7th month is not recommended but not forbidden.
- Unfortunately the pregnancy didn't go very good and my wife had many complaints and she was really incapable to travel. We had another attempt to talk with the agency and postpone the trip - again they told us to contact our insurance company and ask them for refund. I decided to take everything in my hands and contact the hotels and the airlines directly. The flights were booked with Low-Cost airlines, but the customer care showed great understanding to the situations and agreed to refund our tickets. All the hotel reservations were fully refundable but the reservations could be changed and cancelled only by the agency.
Which exposed the scheme which Interfact are doing, they ask us to cancel the our trip, don't refund us anything, but collect back all the money for the accomodation, quite easy money ...

Alles tijdig en goed geregeld,uitstekend hotel,vrolijk en betrokken medewerkers in het hotel en een fantastisch ontbijtbuffet.
Prima huurauto.
Alles gewoon goed en efficient geregeld,correct en snel antwoord op vragen.

De locatie was super, dichtbij alle mooie plaatsen als Florence, Lucca, Sienna. Prima hotel, goede faciliteiten. Enorm genoten met erg mooi weer en heerlijk eten. Lees meer over deze vakantie >>
